Sorry i haven’t been around

Meh..

Hmm.. i’m not TOO upset, but i’m not too happy either, prolly shouldn’t have eaten as much as i have been, plus the stress.. not good, not good at all :(

First off, let me tell you about the other day, good day, funny story:
Aaron meets me up at work, bike from work to the Presidio to get a BIkeFit on my bike.. all said n done. good stuff.

Head from there through the Presidio towards Geary, to end up at Safeway,
Presidio is NOT fun for hills (coming up n out), but its not bad either
anyway, so we are heading that way and at first i thougth my brakes were just off, butn ow i notice a decent wobble in my bike.. and my chain keeps on coming off during gear change. i’m like “WTF”

Head from there to aaron’s house to get his car, and on the way Aaron made me stop “looks like your wheel is gonna come off.. not good”

After a little time i take it back to Sports basement.. and yeeeeup… 3 spokes broken, wheel bent, NOT good!
Luckily its a newb ike, they replaced the spokes, re-true’d my rim, and i was GOOD to go!… another reason i love SPorts Basement.

Oh yea.. that morning, almost got hit by an electric bus that didn’t see me.. and a cab.. fuckin drivers!

ANyway, i’ve been getting my excersize in, but don’t really go to the gym, i’m just so beat after the bike riding. u know 13 miles a day to/from work.. its not all that easy. I think i have to start going again though, maybe doing Low Intensity Cardio, ’cause my feet and legs are cooked and can’t do High Intensity Interval Training (Hiit). After that I think I will have to do weights.

Soo.. that is my plan for next week… bike to/from work, make sure to get some either low-interval cardio in AND DEF. do weights.

Come to think of it, i can bike to the gym after work, then bike from there home.. hmmmmmmmmm.

Day Late, Not BAAAAD… (but not good)

I’m not too upset, i’ll admit.. Mon. night was baaad. I said iw as gonna be good, an then i go out to dinner with a friend.. totally disregarded the calories when we ate dinner (and then dessert).

Tonight i’m going out again with her, hopefully umm.. i’ll stick to just a light-cal dinner :-)

anyway, i didn’t gain much weight, in fact i prolly lost some ’cause i’ve been drinking a shit load of water past coupel days.. i dunno, just been REALLY thirsty a lot, and once i pick up a bottle of water, i can’t stop till i finish it.

GOnna be good, see what Friday brings…

Today I am going to get my bike fit at SPorts basement, they said after a month to come in and its free.. so why not. I hope my ike fits me just that much better than it already does :-) (who knows maybe its raelly off and it’ll amaze me today).

Yesterday was a good day too, for excersize, i got 8 miles in with Aaron, then got bored and went to the gym to do weights. What a day! i was so proud of myself. Hiit on a bicycle (road bicycle) is not as easy as it sounds, and i come to realy not care about it ’cause I think i’m doing it whether I”m trying or not. Hiit at the gym is a lot more easy to manage, time intervals, stuff like that. I think my best combo right now is doing like 1 hour on the road bike, then weights at the gym… however, some days I think i might have to do hiit at the gym on top of my road biking :-)… we’ll see how motivated I am!

Feeling GOod, Bad Weekend.. but Feeling Good

Okay, so I didn’t do SHIT, i mean i did NOTHING this weekend.

I sat on my ass and slept, but it felt PERFECT, like the ideal thing to do after last week…

last night i couldn’t get to sleep till late-ish, but still managed to wake up, refreshed and head to work on my bike. I biked here in record time (24min.) and that is with all the old guys on bikes (damm they congest the bike lane). Of course, there is prolly some “Spandex Warrior” who is like “damm.. some fatass with a bike clogs up the bike lane..” lol!

I do think I am doing a good job, even if a lot of it is downhill-ish, i managed to do my high intensity intervals (hiit), and I managed to get here in good time overall. I think my biking abilities and stamina have increased.. but due to lack of excersize over the weekend, i felt winded pretty fast, however unlike normal my legs kept on wanting to push (usually its the other way around!)

Anyway, i feel good, I think that even with my unproductive weekend, i managed to eat well enough to not gain weight, if anything.. maybe just stay stable (or hopefully lose weight.. we’ll see)… I would be pretty upset if i was back into the 260’s, but i’m gonna push really hard to not make that happen.. well, i mean i’m gonna do the best i acn TODAY to make up for the weekend.

oh wait, last night i played ping pong for like a hour or so.. that musta counted for something, it was pretty intense, just ask Aaron! (who i lost to :( .. just was not in the “zone” last night)

anyway…. feeling good, actually not SO excited about tomorrow’s weigh-in, but whatever.. it needs to be done!

I AM ON MY WAY (to 30lb. down)

woooooooooooooooo yeeeaaaaa, i’m finally in the 250’s.. FINALY

SO i broke my scale while moving :(, i know.. so sad, but luckily it still works, HOWEVER sometimes i get LOTS of hope with readings like:

I mean common, what an evil.. EVIL scale :(.

anyway… I have been biking this whole week, and honestly i can’t say i’ve been 100%.. but i’ve been at 80%, I”ll admit that last night i had a fruit tart while drinkign my tea… but it felt good to indulge, besides i barely ate anything yest, so it works out for the better.

Wed. while biking home (with Aaron) my legs did not feel so good, (and as you read) my legs were giving out due to overwork and just pure bad soreness.
Yesterday i had Josh pick me up from work iwth my truck…

Today i woke up with a soooore ass shoulder, i guess during the night my pillows fell off my futon and i was sleeping on my side, with my head cocked a bit so that even with a hot shower.. my neck/shoulder is just stiff and in pain… hopefully that will go away, ’cause i needa go to the gym today

The gym has been neglected also past coupel days, so sore, yet still bike riding I figured I wouldbe okay doing both.. which I’m not.. so since I did not bike today, i’ll be at the gym today after work for sure!

other than that.. things are looking up :-) finally, and i hope to be at that 30lb. down soon!

Stuck At Work

Oye.. my hamstrings!
SEriously, they hurt so bad, I knew they hurt this morning, but i decided to bike to work nonetheless.. and now.. i feel stuck

my legs are in so much pain, luckily i thought ahead and left my truck key behind, so hopefully someone can be a pal and pick me up (yes, i know.. i’m lazy.. but at this point i’d rather go tot he gym do Hiit on a stationary bike, and weights.. over riding back to my friend’s house

YEsterday was actually pretty bada lready, Aaron joined me on my bike trip home and man by the time I got to the inner susnet i was TOAST, then from there its all uphil so like yea.. NOT good, i got home, showered and crashed.. my legs could not handle it, and i had just tired myself out 150%

I think something is wrong or something is up.. ’cause i slept for a few hours yest. for a nap, THEN i went to bed at like 10pm, woke up at 730am, which is an IMMENSE amount of sleep for me… and still, i was soo fuckin tired :( RIght now I am fine, but that is ’cause I still have sweat pouring from my soul…

I gotta figure it out.. OH ya, tomorrow is weigh-in and I think I’m gonna really go crazy if i don’t get 250, in fact i’ll blame it on not killing myself bike riding back home today… even though it may not be the case.

midweek

Biking to work is fun. seriously though, i mean TO work is a breeeze and its fun, i love making fun of people that i see, and its actually amusing dealing with traffic.. bike traffic that is.

seriously 10-12 bikes all going from light to light, each one at their own pace and each one meeting the others at each red light (with the occasional few that fly through them).

Its really funny to see the type of ppl who really take bikes to work.. i mean i see the hipster Fixie guys, and then i see guys in business suits and beach cruisers going to work

Gas is shitty expensive, biking is 0 gas and its good for you, and yea.. its amazingly fun when you aren’t struggling.

GOING HOME, not so much.. all uphill for the most part, and especialy once i get into the innersusnet, its like straight uphill for like 4-5 blocks, KILLER on the legs :( I try to do hiit but its like one non-stop interval, lol.

I really hope i’m under 260 by Friday, ’cause seriously, everyday biking to/from work, AND hiit at the gym.. its gotta do something, right? i mean as long as i keep calories low, i should be fine.

Food wise, yest. wasn’t the BEST day, but not bad, i mean i had a quesadilla with chicken, and a piece of steak for dinner. Today i’ve had more normal Clif Bar breakfast and later prolly eat the one last piece of steak i have (maybe even make a quesadilla out of it.. mmmmm)
