I WAS ON COPS!
Well here’s a new one. I had a patient who was drunk and under arrest go completely ape-shit berserk on me in the ED the other day. So far so good, nothing out of the ordinary. What was new was her reason, articulated in a piercing shriek, as to why she should not be handcuffed and go to jail, “I WAS ON COPS! I WAS ON COPS!” We all believed her.
