Many of the men that come to the Mark Houston Texas Drug and Alcohol Recovery Center are in some form of legal trouble. Oftentimes, the addict refuses to admit a problem until their world has hit rock bottom.

Many times, even when drugs or alcohol has landed someone in legal trouble, the addict still don’t believe there is a problem but comes to the Mark Houston Recovery Center because they are forced to enter into a drug rehab by the courts.

Drug Rehab Recovery Resources for Defense Attorneys

Because so many of our residents are facing legal troubles, we are well prepared to handle communication and act as liaisons for courts, probation departments, and other legal matters. We receive many calls from defense attorneys and probation officers searching for Texas drug rehabs who are looking for a residential facility for their clients who need high quality drug and alcohol recovery help.

Oftentimes men are not allowed out of jail until they can prove that they will enroll in a drug rehab program. If we feel the resident is a good fit, we work with families and defense attorneys to admit the individual. Once the admissions process is complete, we provide acceptance letters for attorney’s to present to the courts or other offices. We often work with defense attorneys to provide them with information upon which to build a defense to present in court or to probation departments.

Our primary goal for men during their 90 day stay at the Mark Houston Recovery Center is to help them learn how to maintain a life of permanent sobriety and to teach them life skills necessary for becoming a productive member in society. We are prepared to follow any protocol set forth by the courts.

Many men who have been placed under supervision cannot stay clean and are facing revocation as a result. The Mark Houston Drug and Alcohol Recovery Center works in coordination with probation departments to meet their protocols including UA’s, progress reports.
