Of course, varying factors include your speed, the effort you put forth, and the terrain in which you ride, if riding for leisure. Another thing to remember is that biking is not hard on your joints like running is.
In all honesty, it is important to remember that any exercise is better than no exercise at all. If properly implemented, you can benefit from both running and biking. The decision as to which workout approach you should take should depend on your own personal preferences.
