Hair Loss Help Is Here
Women of all ages and races are losing their hair due to a variety of reasons - health, environment, genetics, stress, etc. - and it is no fun. At first, we notice a few strands here and there - maybe in the brush, then in the sink, on the floor, everywhere! It gets progressively worse, eventhough some of us have been “religious” about proper haircare. We’ve sat in our stylists’ chairs week after week without even a word from our stylist informing us that trouble is on the horizon. By the time we realized there was a problem, the dermatologist told us it was too late, that there was nothing they could do.
Upset, frustrated, and disgusted we returned to our homes thinking that we’ll just have to deal with it. Little did we know that the problem was actually going to worsen, leaving us feeling more ashamed and humiliated. By ignoring the problem and attempting to disguise it with sew-in and bonded weaves, braid extensions, etc. the condition progresses until we have virtually no hair in the crown or maybe sides.
This happened to me over 10 years ago and I’ve since become a licensed cosmetologist specializing in hair replacement.
This blog is for all the people out there that may be suffering with hair loss. I invite you to post your questions and comments. Sharing may help someone who feels alone. You are not alone. Hair Loss Help is here.
