A Liberating Song

Both mental fitness training and life coaching thrive on identifying obstacles blocking success.  Once obstacles are identified, strategies are put in place to overcome these obstacles.

According to Wikipedia,  Johnny Nash, an African American pop singer is best known for his hit song in 1972.  This song extols the desired results and benefits from mental fitness training and life coaching.

Songfacts had the following quotation about this song:  "It is a song of hope and courage for individuals who have experienced adversity in their lives but have overcome it".

Do you know the name and lyrics of the song?

The name of the song is "I Can See Clearly Now ".

The lyrics are:

I can see clearly now, the rain is gone
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind
It’s gonna be a bright (bright), bright (bright)
Sun shiny day

I think I can make it now, the pain is gone
All of the bad feelings have disappeared
Here is the rainbow I’ve been prayin’ for
It’s gonna be a bright (bright), bright (bright)
Sun shiny day

Look all around, there’s nothin’ but blue skies
Look straight ahead, nothin’ but blue skies

I can see clearly now, the rain is gone
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind
It’s gonna be a bright (bright), bright (bright)
Sun shiny day

These lyrics express the essence of successful mental fitness training and life coaching.

I Love that song!
Of course it reminds me of Junior High but that is not why I love it. I love it because the words are so powerful and encouraging!
